Rep. Ken Skowronski Announces Reelection Campaign
(Franklin, WI) - Today, Republican Ken Skowronski announced that he would be running for reelection to the Wisconsin State Assembly in the 82nd Assembly District, which includes Franklin, Greendale and parts of Greenfield.
“Since taking over for Representative Jeff Stone in a special election in December, it has been my honor and privilege to serve my constituents in the State Assembly, and I look forward to continuing to earn their trust as we move into the next session.” Skowronski said.
In his short time in office, Skowronski has already made his mark. One of his first votes was in support of the $541 million tax cut for hard working Wisconsinites. He authored the life saving Silver Alert Bill that will provide authorities a system to notify the public when an individual with dementia or Alzheimer’s has gone missing. The bill passed both chambers of the legislature unanimously.
“We’ve made great progress in the past session by lowering taxes of hard working Wisconsinites, growing our economy and making 82nd Assembly District, Milwaukee County and Wisconsin a better place to work, live and do business. With the support of the citizens of the 82nd Assembly District, we can continue to move Wisconsin in a positive direction.”
