Ken Skowronski Announces Re-Election Bid for the 82nd Assembly District

(Franklin) – Ken Skowronski will officially be on the ballot in 2020 after filing nomination papers with the Wisconsin Elections Commission. He has proudly represented the 82nd Assembly District since 2013. The district includes Franklin and parts of Greenfield and Greendale.

“I’ve lived in Southeast Wisconsin my entire life and it has been a great privilege representing this community in state government,” Skowronski said. “I’m proud to be able to give back in this way and I’m looking forward to continuing my service in the Assembly.”

Skowronski has been a strong voice for the municipalities of Franklin, Greenfield and Greendale at the state level and has tirelessly advocated for the military veterans and senior citizens of our state. He has also supported measures that keep taxes low while funding K-12 education at record high levels.

With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to affect all of us, access to quality, affordable healthcare remains vitally important. Skowronski has supported initiatives to ensure patients with pre-existing conditions can’t be denied coverage and supported the reinsurance program that has lowered premiums in Wisconsin.

“The effects of the pandemic and the economic lockdown will be felt for some time,” Skowronski said. “We can continue to find ways that protect access to affordable and quality healthcare and protect Wisconsin taxpayers with common sense free market solutions.”

The primary election will take place on August 11th and the general election will occur November 3, 2020.
