On Monday, January 4th, I signed the Oath of Office Book and was officially sworn in to represent the 82nd Assembly District during Wisconsin's 105th Legislative session.
Thank you for all your support!
First, I want to thank God for this continued opportunity and the many blessings he has given me in life. I want to thank the great people of the 82nd District for placing their faith in me again to serve as their representative. I also want to thank my family and friends who have supported me throughout my career in public service. Lastly, thank you to my campaign team and the volunteers who made this campaign happen. A candidate cannot run a campaign alone and tonight’s victory would have been impossible without their help.
During this campaign, we were outspent by my Democratic opponent and his liberal allies by a wide margin. While they ran a negative campaign and spread lies about me and my record, I focused on listening to my constituents and highlighting how I’ve been able to help our community. Winning an election is not about how many social media posts you put up or mailers you send. It is about delivering results and conversing with constituents.
I want to thank my Democratic and independent opponents for deciding to run for office. We may disagree over public policy, but we are all passionate about serving Wisconsin.
I will continue to do what is the right for Wisconsin and our community. In the next session, I plan to work on fighting COVID-19, rebuilding the economy, ensuring safe communities, and supporting our veterans.
Thank you all for your support!
Nurses are superhero's! They are in the front line responding to the pandemic and caring for others as they do best. They do the work many of us would never... I humbly accept the endorsement of the Wisconsin Nurses. I stand with our nurses that's why I co-authored 2019 AB 175, Workplace Violence Against Nurses, and 2019 AB 267, APRN Modernization Act.
Ken Backs the Badge!
I'm grateful to be endorsed by the Milwaukee Police Association and I'm proud to support our police officers. With the "defund the police" rhetoric occurring right now, it's important that we support them and understand the amazing job they do in our community.
